Democrat Bill Lennox, incumbent Wasco County Commissioner, is running for a second term in the November 2010 general election. His opponent is Republican Rod Runyon.

Wasco County Democratic Central Committee selected Darcy Long-Curtiss as the Democratic candidate for Wasco County Commissioner Position 1. Long-Curtiss will face Republican Scott Hege in the November election. 

Wasco County Democrats will open a public office Sept 7-Nov 2, at 508-1/2 Washington Street in The Dalles. Volunteers are needed for elections activiites. Contact Teresa Hepker for more information.
